A two-day long conference was held at the BICC on 23 and 24 April, 2016 addressing the “Bangladesh Journey”. This was an opportunity to involve policy makers and a broad spectrum of academics, experts and civil society members in a genuine conversation on the journey so far, the current state of development, and critical challenges for the future. Spread over a total of nine sessions, the conference covered education, regional cooperation, governance, land and agriculture, financing infrastructure and poverty eradication. The Conference generated a lot of interest and provided an effective platform of engagement and conversation.
